There is no obligation to use our company for any phase of your plans. Even if you don't use Okeechobee Outfitters, we have contacts throughout this country and the world that are reputable, proven and reliable. Even if you do not work with Okeechobee Outfitters directly, AT NO COST TO THE HUNTER, we will gladly help you set up the hunting or fishing trip that is exactly as you desire.

Can I call even if I know I don't need a guide for my outing?

Yes, Okeechobee Outfitters is familiar with renowned hunting and fishing spots throughout the world. You might want to go on a vacation by yourself or only with your group, and we could help you find the ideal place for your outing. AT NO COST TO YOU, we can recommend some of the finest locations to suit your budget, location and yield expectations.

What if I have questions, but want to use my own taxidermist /outfitter / favorite hunting or fishing location?

Feel free to call Okeechobee Outfitters at any time anyway. We might be able to assist you in any areas where you have questions or need a recommendation. We might be able to make a suggestion as to the prime time of the year for harvesting certain types of animals. Maybe we'll think of something that you hadn't thought of yet? There's nothing to lose, and no obligation, and it might help you make your experience more worth your time. This is done at NO COST to you.

Is it too late to book a trip for a certain type of animal?

Probably not. Keep in mind that certain types of animals shed their antlers during the year, and certain types of animals have more impressive hides at different times of the year. If you have any questions or would like to find the ideal time for the animal(s) you have in mind, call and talk to our experts anytime at (863) 655-2454. Right now the North American hunts are taking reservations for Osceola turkey season, when the animals are at their peak! Depending on the state/country you have in mind, some places require licenses to be purchased in advance of a hunt or fishing trip. Again, we will obtain this information for you at NO COST. Just give us a call and we'll discuss your needs and your expectations for your hunting/fishing trip.

What if I want to book a trip in another country?

Easy, we have associates that are available to travel to any continent and that speak languages other than English. Call us at (863) 655-2454 and we'll be happy to make all the arrangements. Okeechobee Outfitters is the ONLY call you need to make. Lodging, meals, transportation, licenses, guiding and taxidermy/prep service ... if we don't provide it, we will know who does and be able to send you in the right direction. This is your ONE STOP for any of your hunting or fishing trip needs. We know you are busy and that you want a hassle-free experience. You've come to the right place.

I have heard that some of these animals are endangered species. Are those hunted?

Some animals proliferate in certain countries while they do poorly in others. We have had situations where a native African animal might be hunted out in Africa and declared "endangered" there, but may be plentiful in South Florida or elsewhere! We are aware of the laws in every country and can assure you we will only engage in responsible, lawful hunting trips. Call us if you have any questions or have any doubts as to the availability of any particular animal. We are aware of many private landowners, game ranches, and public land, and surely will be able to find a place to get you the hunt you want.

What if the type of animal I have in mind is not mentioned on this page?

What should I do if this is my first hunt and I'm not sure how to check out the credibility of the outfitter / game ranch / taxidermist that I have seen advertised?

This is a very serious matter and we are aware that fraud exists in this industry, as in any other. If you have doubts about the company that you desire to do business with, give us a call at (863) 655-2454 and we can recommend ways to check them out.

I'm ready to book a hunt, what else do I need to know about payment?

Our prices are subject to change annually, so please check with us on the phone to confirm the current price for the hunt you want. All hunts can be combined with additional lodging, so check with us if you want to extend your stay. Pickup and drop-off at the local airport is available for an additional fee. Rifle range is available. Shipping, vacuum-packing and freezing of meat can be done for an additional fee. A hunter is booked upon receive of a 50% deposit, with balance due upon arrival. We accept all major credit cards, but do not accept a check for the final payment. Cancellation must be received at least 30 days before hunt.
